Leaving Baia Mare

• 10:00 – stop (30 minutes) Șurdești – village Șurdești – visit the wooden church – „Sf. Arh. Mihail și Gavril” UNESCO Heritage – built in 1721 – the highest odest wooden church in Europe 72 m.
• 11:30 Cavnic – town – 600-700 m high –„ The Tatars Obelisk ” – 1717 – the point where the last Tatar invasion was stopped;. (15 minutes break) – for a panorama of Maramures.
• 12:00 – Budești – Piemontul Văratec – visit the wooden church “Josani” (30 minutes); where the Armour of Pintea The Outlaw is located.
• 12:50 – stop (30 minutes) in the village of Călineşti – visit at the traditional whirlpool and at the place where villigers make their traditional drink – „Horinca”
• 13:30/14:00 – stop (90 minutes) at Sighetu Marmației for a traditional lunch at Casa Iurca de Călinești
• 15:30 – stop (60 minutes) Sighetu Marmației – vizit „ The Memorial of the Victims of Communism and of the Resistance ”
• 17:00 stop (40 minutes) Săpânța – visit the Merry Cemetery
• 18:00 return to Baia Mare
